Our Commitment
At Girl Squad Media, we believe that building empires starts with integrity. From environmental consciousness to community equity, our work reflects our values at every level on set, online, and in every room we enter.
Sustainability & Social Impact
Q: Do you publish a sustainability policy and report on progress?
A: Yes—we believe transparency builds trust. We share our sustainability policy and milestones with clients
and partners and are working toward launching an annual sustainability snapshot on our website.
Q: Do you monitor your greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and set reduction targets?
A: We actively monitor energy use, travel impact, and waste. We're developing formal GHG tracking and
reduction targets aligned with recognized sustainability frameworks.
Q: Do you track energy, water, and waste usage annually?
A: Yes. Our production teams use best practices to track and reduce consumption. We partner with venues
and vendors committed to responsible sourcing and resource management.
Q: Do you use renewable energy or implement waste reduction and recycling practices?
A: Whenever possible, yes. We choose renewable-powered venues, minimize single-use materials, and
actively recycle and repurpose production assets.
Q: Do you support circularity?
A: Absolutely. We reuse props, materials, and creative tools to extend their lifecycle and reduce landfill
waste.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
Q: What is your policy on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion?
A: Girl Squad Media is proudly women-owned, Latina-led, and committed to building equity in everything
we do. From who we hire to who we highlight, inclusion isn't a policy—it's our foundation.
Q: How do you ensure diverse representation in your work?
A: We prioritize inclusive casting, multicultural creative teams, and partner with clients who reflect and
respect our communities. Authenticity is at the center of every project.
Human Rights, Labor & Ethics
Q: Do you have human rights and labor practices policies?
A: Yes. We uphold fair labor standards and expect all collaborators to follow anti-discrimination and anti-
harassment policies. We align with the UN Global Compact and similar frameworks.
Q: Do you vet vendors and partners for ethical practices?
A: Every partner we work with must align with our ethical standards. We avoid partnerships with any group
or supplier that compromises human rights or labor integrity.
Q: How do you address modern slavery concerns?
A: We maintain zero tolerance for any form of forced or exploitative labor. We regularly evaluate our vendor
network and maintain compliance with anti-slavery laws.
Community Engagement
Q: Do you support your community through philanthropy or service?
A: Yes. We mentor emerging creatives, donate services to impact-driven nonprofits, and amplify
underrepresented voices through our storytelling.
Q: Do you prioritize local or small business partnerships?
A: Always. We love working with local, women-owned, BIPOC-led, and values-aligned businesses to create a
ripple effect of growth and empowerment.
